When i was about 6 or 7 (i think) I had this dream where I lived in this town and could hear all the noises around me but I was somehow locked in a basement and it was dark and i was really scared. Sometimes there were other people there and sometimes I (we) were super small. There was always a set of stairs leading up to a door and you could see the light streaming through the cracks of the door. I remember I would be hiding under the stairs and I would be considerably smaller than the stAirs and the door at the top of the stairs would be considerably bigger than me. Then at some point I would see the shadow of a big man or monster i suppose blockig the light streaming through the cracks of the door and then he (it) would swing the door open and he would be cast in shadow and i would be very scared and then i would wake up. This dream recurred throughout my adolescent years usually when I was very hot at night. |
