After my father died I had this dream several times and later I found out my mother also had the same dream. I believe it was part of the grieving process. I was at a party in a large crowded room, I looked up and I saw my father on the other side of the room. I tried to get to him, working my way past all the people. Finally I got to the spot he had been but he was no longer there. I felt a sence of panic, looking all around the room then suddenly I found him again on the other side of the room and the dream started over again. This continued until I woke up crying. I had this dream many times in the year after my father died and a few times over the last 50 years. I still remember it clearly. |
