I often dream about being at work, and work is a "front" for some other job. The last dream I remember I was something like a spy but not for another country or even for any competitor, but rather for myself. There was this room that doesn't exist in real life that I entered and a wall panel that moved to where a car was sitting. I got in and there were several women already in the car waiting for me. We went on what I would now call a joy ride having intimate relations along the way. The "enemy" showed up and I got into a firefight and somehow ended up on a cliff; which I fell off of and woke up just before hitting the ground. I think the dream means my life is too mundane and I wish I was a lady's man. But then again, I've been watching a lot of movies recently and it may have been a conglomeration of all the movies: The Mummy Returns, The Mummy Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, CastAway, The Last Samurai, Transformers Revenge of the Fallen and Free Willy. |

The last time this happened was several years ago. I quit smoking and was having nightmares about still smoking and running into people I knew that I had told I was going to quit. In the dream: I was in an arcade playing a video game you stand in front of, playing it. Without thinking I lit up a cigarette and began smoking it while playing. I then took the cigarette out of my mouth, looked at it, and thought how good it tasted. I then turned around and there was this stage behind me. Apparently I was at a stip club/arcade. This stripper came out on stage and began dancing. It was this girl I had known who I had told I was going to quit who died shortly thereafter. I was caught cheating on my promise to quit. I woke up. I thought I was in love with that girl when she was alive. I think dreaming about her is very natural as she hadn't died all that long before I had the dream, and as I prefaced; I had just quit smoking and was having several nightmares about smoking. |

The only time I recall being aware that I was in a dream occurred when I was 7 years old. I was going downstairs into the basement, and fell down the stairs. The water heater in the basement came alive and began slowly approaching me with a sinister look. Since I had fallen down the stairs my legs wouldn't work and I couldn't get up and run away. At this time I became aware that I was dreaming and kept telling myself to wake up. I couldn't wake up and the water heater monster kept coming! I focused on a bathroom light behind the monster that was on, still trying to wake myself up. Just before the monster got to me, I woke up to find that I was staring at a light in the hallway that had not been turned on. To this day, I have no idea what that dream means. |
