yes; was walking through the hall of a shopping area in a building that also had offices on the upper floors and caught the sight of my friend waiting for an elevator, hesitated but continued to walk thinking it can't be John, he's dead. John called out my name and I turned and looked in disbelief and he told me come here it's really me.we hugged and still in disbelief I kept saying "it can't be". he said from time to time "they" are sent back to do a deed and that he was on his way upstairs to see someone. John was dressed business casual not his usual jeans and tshirt. the elevator came, he hugged me goodbye and said I have to go and got on the elevator; I turned and walked away. John was my best friend's husband that committed suicide almost 2 yrs ago. This wasn't the first I've dreamt of John, previous dreams he thanked me for taking care of Misty (his wife/my friend) and told me he was fine. Perhaps this last dream was the last time I'll see him in my dreams for a while (or ever) since it felt more of a goodbye hug and he had never said the words "i have to go" in my previous dreams; perhaps he's content that Misty will be ok and able to move on |
