Yes, although its been many years. When my father died 20 years go, I had trouble in the early weeks recalling what he looked like, although we were so close! I was devastated when he died. As the weeks went by, I dreamt that I was in a car with him, in the back seat, and he was driving. I kept asking him questions and to turn around and he wouldn't. Over time, he started to turn towards me, but I could only see his profile. Finally, one day he turned and looked at me and I woke up. It was so real. I woke up and started crying. I knew he was telling me that I needed to accept that he was no longer here. |

I used to have terrible nightmares of people chasing me and my brother said that every time this happened to me, I had to remind myself that I was in charge of my dream and that I was dreaming and I found that this was possible. Now, every time something scary is happening in a dream. Most recently, I dreamt that someone was looking through my window - this is often a dream for me. I was in bed, asleep, and a man was looking through my window. At times, he looked like a clown, with bright orange hair, an evil wicked smile, and at other times, he looked like a man with no particularly strong features. No smile, no scowl, just a straight stair - plain. But menacing for the same reason. |
